Beautiful Addition to the Therapy Story

I love Kathryn Perez, I love her to pieces. I love her words, her stories, her characters and her heart. This is now book number 5 I think that I have read from Perez and once again I'm blown away. There is something so beautifully raw, earnest and heartfelt about Perez's writing that just cannot be duplicated. Her words yank on my heart strings like nothing I have ever read; no matter how long or short the story I always know she is going to wreck my emotional stability, break my heart, collect the pieces and then put me back together better than I was before.
This book is a continuation if you will of Jess' story from Therapy its the "after" of what concluded in Therapy. I have seen a few folks state that Jess finally got her HEA, I don't quite agree not that she didn't get a happy ending here but I think there is a difference in what is viewed as a happy ending in my mind. Jess didn't get a happy ending she got a life filled with love, she got a new beginning. Her happy ending was in Therapy when she finally learned to love herself, when she overcame the pain in her life, when she found the strength to fight her illness and all those who made her feel lesser for it. Did we need Therapy Ever After? No we didn't, but I'm glad Kathryn gave it to us. I am glad we got to see Jess continue to fight for her happiness and see Jace fight with her. I'm glad we got to feel the love they shared drip from the pages and flood our hearts. It was a beautiful addition to the Therapy story and like all things Perez writes it will make you cry tears of both solace,love and joy.

Phenomenal

This book gave me the closure I needed. I didn't need Jessica to just pick up and pretend nothing ever happened and that she was "normal" now. No, she took control of her life and if you wanted to be a part of it, you had to be willing to do it on her time. There are so many questions I had after Therapy because I needed to know she was going to be ok. I can't praise the book enough. Thank you, K for finally giving me what I needed.

Beautiful

Therapy Ever After was a amazing ending for a couple that endured a lot of pain. I was content with the way Therapy ended but TEA had such a beautiful ending you have no doubts that Jess continued to be the strong women we knew she was and was happy in her life with Jace.
