About the Author
Don Cerow is a certified NCGR Level IV astrologer known for the depth of his celestial insights. A professional since 1972, his interest has been in how astrology evolved from the mythology and astronomy of ancient peoples. He's produced shows for radio and television and has taught at colleges, universities, and planetariums across the country. In 2005 he wrote and produced a multi-media show for Fiske Planetarium at the U of Colorado, Boulder entitled Stars, Myths and Dragons. Beautiful Art

Review on Gnostalgia
In "When the Dragon Wore the Crown," Cerow explores the symbolism, mythology, and astronomy of our ancient ancestors. As is my usual habit, I flipped to the back of the book to check out the footnotes and found a beefy footnotes section. The book has a nice set of of charts and should be a great jumping off point for further studies.
While the book is well-written, I couldn't help but feel that the artwork was the best part of the book. "When the Dragon Wore the Crown" is packed with the best collection of pictures that I have seen in a book in the last couple of years.
All in all, the book was a fun and informative read. I really enjoyed reading it and loved the art. This is a book that I would recommend for the art alone. I give "When the Dragon Wore the Crown" four stars out of five and recommend it for your home library.

This book delves into the elusive subject of the stars and their mystique. You will be able to understand and appreciate all that before was just a mystery. Thank you Don Cerow for helping me understand classic astronomy with such a beautiful book.

This book has the best explanation of why there are Dragon stories all over the world! It is filled with awesome pictures. The Dragon is in the stars - who knew?
